enjoyable

I'm an adult and wanted something different and this series was just the thing. This is the 3rd in the series and despite being written for a much younger audience it has captured my attention. The message of free will being the greatest gift is something we all need to hear.

better than Harry Potter

with the first two books I was worried that these books would be just another version of Harry Potter, but after listening to this third book it has captured some great twists and character building that I never saw in Harry Potter (sorry Harry Potter fans). great book.

Still Enchanting

The story keeps going on with new twists and unseen events. The protagonist Alex keeps growing and understanding the history of all events. I really enjoyed the new scenarios and the story that keeps growing in this book. I am hooked on this series, and can't wait to hear how it all ends. But first, couple more books to enjoy!

I love the fact that there is SO much packed into each book! So much laughter and tears (on my part as well as the characters'.) This is DEFINITELY a series that I will read again!

The books continue to get better as they go! The story will make you want to continue to listen.

Why does the lead character have to act so stupid

For some reason, and I still don't understand how it's relevant to the plot, the lead character's unable to understand time. Apparently, according to her, thousands of years shouldn't change anything at all. She is just completely mind blown that anything changed in the course of thousands of years, go figure. Laying the stupidity on so thickly is honestly ruining the story.
