I was mad a Max for over half this story. He was controlling, mean, closed off, and a little manipulate at times. To be someone in their 40s behaving like that made my head hurt.
Summer was strong willed and a little stubborn but that's what 20 somethings are LOL. I loved how she always spoke her mind and stood her ground around all these older people.
The age gap only stood out to me when conflict came around other than that I feel they both helped each other meet in the middle.
Max and David and their brother banter was so funny to me. They love each other DOWN.
