Romantic love story
Purely romantic, sensual & heart warming story! I loved the story, the tenderness, the characters, tons of steamy sizzle & passion (without being vulgar or tasteless). A very classic, with a twist, love story ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyable
It's funny. When perusing through a list of unknown books to check for the next possible read, don't you find you have to take that chance and judge a book by its cover, meaning assess the author, cover picture, blurbs and reviews? We've all done it at some point no doubt. And sometimes it's just plain luck to stumble across something enjoyable and satisfying? Right?
And so, to say that I was sceptical at first, eh...saw the length of it, then saw the high ratings, I thought to give it a try since I was looking for something to tide me over to the next big read.
Well! What a pleasant surprise! A believable storyline, a strong development of characters (given the length of the narrative) and enough interest in the characters to want to cheer them to the finish line. Thank you Ms. Bybee. I will look out for more of your novels.

A really fun read!
I enjoy Catherine books, this weekday brides series, is a perfect book to sit on the beach and read or sit in a comfortable chair by the fire.
I find them hard to put down.

Love the romantic dynamics
Tanya Eby is one of my favorite narrators. She makes the characters so believably passionate. I like the fact that Blake would not succumb to his family lineages but make his own. Blake & Sam are indeed made for each othetr. Looking forward to reading more from Catherine Bybee
