I'm a country boy, born and raised. He's new in town and all city.
Bronc riding has always been my main focus. The plan was simple: work hard, go pro, and show the world what I was made of. It hasn't been easy, but I did it through dedication and a whole lot of determination.
My dreams came true, my life more than fulfilled… Or so I thought. I never knew how much I ached for more until I stopped to help a stranger on the side of a one-lane road one chilly fall afternoon.
He couldn't be more different than me, with his messy curls and the chipped black polish. But from the moment he fumbled over his words, flustered and tense, sitting in the driver's seat of his broken-down ride, I knew I wanted to know more. Know everything. This all-consuming need to get to know him, to get close to him, is new.
He's only in town for a short while, Copper Lake merely a temporary stop. Getting close to him is foolish… But there's no way I can stop it. Not when he makes me feel things I've never felt before.
What happens when he goes back to the city, and I'm left in the dust, watching his tail lights disappear down the dirt road?

Reed Ellis is absolutely gorgeous but a total newbie to camming, a virtual nobody in my world. I should have just deleted his message request for a steamy on-camera collaboration. Not everyone is cut out to be a camboy. But there's just something about him I couldn't resist. He's timid and inexperienced, quiet and closed off, but his fumbling first times play out scorching hot for the cameras, and our videos together are an instant success. Reed Ellis is absolutely gorgeous but a total newbie to camming, a virtual nobody in my world. I should have just deleted his message request for a steamy on-camera collaboration. Not everyone is cut out to be a camboy. But there's just something about him I couldn't resist. He's timid and inexperienced, quiet and closed off, but his fumbling first times play out scorching hot for the cameras, and our videos together are an instant success. I know I should just ride this out, sit back and watch the money roll in, and then move on.

Really Enjoyed this!
Ashley James is one of my top faves in m/m romance so I'm never disappointed! loved that we have a demi or pan rep in Cope and I love how well he and Zander communicated their feelings so the angst was low - which I needed and the spice was high - also needed lol. Both Blake and Dane are in my top 20 of male performers so I definitely was satisfied with them

Love this series
I recently discovered this series and I’m loving it so far! I love the sweetness and no angst. This is a classic opposites attract story. Excited for the rest of the series!

The amount of love I have for Xander and his love of Aggie 🖤🖤🖤🖤 and all the other animals!!
There is some pining but it’s relatively low angst. I love this story and how much Xander and C have for one another. It’s a live as easy as walking!

Ashley James! You did it again! Thank you! Aggie kinda stole the show with the chicken chasing ❤️ Loved Cope’s and Xander’s love story, it’s simple, romantic and adorable. Cope is one of my favorite characters from Ashley’s books, he’s just so precious and perfect for Xander, OMG finally Xander got his HEA and I couldn’t be happier. He deserves all the love!!
This has zero angst which is what I’m currently enjoying, my anxiety is loving light, fluffy romance and this gave me all the butterflies with lots of swooning.
Loving this series, I may have a small obsession with cowboys and farms and ranches and all cute animals, I cannot wait for the third book in the series

this was lovely ❤️
I saw another review that described this book perfectly as a warm hug. A slow burn with low angst. A love story with MC's that communicate, care for each other and discover of a sense of 'home' in each other.
The narration took me a few chapters to love but it was perfectly cast for these characters.
This is a lovely listen with fluffy cows, deep connections, demi representation and characters I love.

Ugh!
I had high hopes for this audiobook but was disappointed. The story never caught my attention/interest (I fast forward through much of this writing hoping it would improve), the performances were poorly rendered and the characters were lackluster at best. I truly enjoyed the other audiobooks in this series until I attempted to listen to this one.
