This book is an explicit M/M paranormal fantasy romance with a twinky, grouchy, gothy dragon who hoards—well, it isn't gold, a hot human sunshine himbo (he'd be the first to admit that's a fair description), and some extremely angry parents who can breathe fire. Although this is book two in a series, it stands completely alone. The Beautiful Beasts series does not contain mpreg. HEA guaranteed!

Sweet story

The MCs were very sweet (although I wanted to shake them to communicate a few times). 😉 I really enjoyed Fiora’s false bravado to keep his pride intact.

Greg Boudreaux did an amazing job. I think he had a really good time narrating this one. You could hear it in his voice several times. I laughed out loud along with him.

Another Beautiful Smut Novel

Eliot & Greg are a match made in heaven. Eliot’s words come to life in the naughtiest of ways thanks to Greg’s narration. *chefs kiss*

Funniest Book Ever

Now I came here for smut and I didn't quite get it but... but... This is on the reread shelf. It's romantic and funny and sweet and it does get sexy, sexy as all get out.

The first audiobook I read had Greg Boudreaux doing Deven's voice as one of the MCs and I haven't heard it since despite my devouring his books. Ah. Yes. I can't get enough. Wish there was more smut to go with it but having Deven's charming self more than makes up for it. And Fiora is just too adorable- even if he will light me on fire for saying so.

Also, god, I've missed 3rd person. In these genres it's hard to find and I really appreciate the descriptions and lovely wordplay Eliot brings. I'm about to devour everything else by them!

Great story

Funny and heartwarming. I Thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Definitely has gained a new fan.

Melodrama overload

This could have been so much better but it's overburdened with melodrama and purple prose. Too many metaphors, adjectives and adverbs. I struggled keeping track of the plot. I was annoyed that the Dragon didn't tell his lover that having sex with him could kill one of them. Who does that? And then the fool forgives the Dragon and has to engage with a house full of very selfish drama queens. I finished it but it was a struggle. I didn't feel there was any real depth to the characters at all. They're a shallow bunch.
