Great book!

This book came at a time when've needed it most. It spoke to me in every way. I love that Bishop TD Jakes narrated it himself because he speaks with such conviction. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderfully written and motivating

I enjoyed listening to this book. He pointed out some important points to focus on. He made me believe that I too can discover my purpose. He motivated me to get up and fight for my destiny.

What did you love best about Destiny?

I have listened to this book over and over again, and each time I hear something new. I had so many A-HA moments that I ended up purchasing the book in hard cover and passed it along to a friend, of whom I told once she was finished to pass it on as well and so on. The book makes you think about where you ARE versus Where you are going, The path to Destiny is clearly mapped out by Bishop TD Jakes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Destiny?

Every single chapter of this book is inspiring and moving. My favorite is Chapter 4, I had such an A-ha moment when the Bishop discussed the people that will come into your life and how to deal with each of them and their purpose in your life. I have never heard such a thing, but it lead me to quickly analyze the relationships and "friendships" I currently have, which has helped me learn how to deal with them and what their place in my life is.

What about T. D. Jakes’s performance did you like?

I just love the Bishops voice, its calming, yet authoritative, and kind, I love that fact that he is narrating it himself, I purchased another book that was not, and just did not feel the same power to it as this one.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Destiny... The map of Life, how to live it, love it and thrive in it.

Mr.Jake's best yet

I loved the story about Corretta Scott King. it made me feel as though I were sitting in the room with them,having a meal,reflecting on life's journey.
