Undiluted Christian Propaganda with bad audio

I've been an Audible member from the beginning of its inception. I have amassed more than 3,000 titles over the years and I am beginning to see a sharp decline in the quality of the offering. Despising the Shame is a perfect example of this. The book is described as an epic tale of overcoming adversity and there was some hint of religious undertone, which I am fine with. I am wary of Christian memoirs because over time, I have found them to be over-dramatized and greatly exaggerated for effect. I have nothing against Christians, but the purpose of a memoir is to tell a story, not to be a vehicle for bringing more converts into the faith. It is easy to tell the difference. Maybe it is the cringeworthy narration combined with audio that made me put my hands to my ears. I am not sure that even the most staunch Christian could listen to this story all the way through. I have never, ever said this about an audible title but this book is absolute garbage. It is insulting to intelligence and to the wallet.
