the complexity of the story but they used to follow along
the story had a lot of depth to it and even though it got a little complex it was very easy to follow along and kept me very engaged

Wonderful voice actors
Loved the voice actors. i was really able to forget that two women played so many male characters. The only thing I disliked was the 5 second long break at the beginning and end of the chapters. I kept thinking that my earphones had lost connection. Other than that, everything was great and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Who’s who! Who’s what! Now what!
What a story… Just when I thought I knew who the baddies were, I realized that there were more lurking! (Everywhere). The #1 traitor is obvious. (Maybe) Can’t wait for the next book in the series. 5 bows & a curtsy to Heather Palmer. Cried at near the ending & wanted to throw a 👠!

Good fantasy, need more!
Audiobook only and I appreciate that, I love audiobooks. The only thing worth mentioning which was a bit of a pain for some of the character names, indeed when it comes to fantasy it’s always handy to have a list of names from a printout to remember who’s who and also to make sure we don’t confuse some characters who have similar names. This could be helped by adding a pdf with a map and list of characters going forward.

masterful work
It was read with such emotion and brilliant articulation that it brought the story to life. The story was great with amazing plot twists and foreshadowing that only drops subtle hints and doesn't give anything away keeping you guessing. beautifully written and read, can't wait for the next book to come out.
