The absolute last thing she needs is to fall for some smart-ass rich girl who will get in the way of that.

It was great!

Great story and excellent narration! I usually not a big fan of zombie stories, but I saw many good reviews and I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! Highly recommended.

Saff’s inner struggle

This is my new favorite book. I love how Saff kept fighting with herself to keep trying to leave the settlement because she was (used to be) a raider and was fighting her inner demon(Her Dad) about staying with people and being strong, but every time she did Maddie was the first thing on her mind. In the beginning I was a little upset that I knew that Saff would end up helping her regardless because she’s blind but as the book kept going I realized that Saff didn’t really wanna be alone. Like what was she gonna do after finding the bunker by herself. I mean of course survive but having Maddie there most definitely made her feel. I think I missed it but I don’t know what happened to Dean. Did and don’t care because he was crazy but I was thinking he ended up having something to do the raiders coming out of no where or something but I never found out. I especially loved how Maddie could read Saff im the short time she knew her. And Maddie being blind did NOT stop her from being a courageous woman when she needed to be. Especially when it came to Saff. When Maddie figured Saff out in Ch. 36 it was sooo good. Saff definitely deserved a break after everything she kept going through and for someone to actually KNOW her.

Loyalty beyond pain

This is a great story that personifies the protectiveness of a great love and a selflessness that can occur when survival and responsibility is taken to that great loving place.
As always with the narration of Lori Prince, I’m astounded by her talent and depth of emotion her voice details.

This is a story of survival, love, and great emotion.
I highly recommend.

performance as always was better than ever. This story had it all, thrill and love. I laughed. I cried. You won't be sad you started it. can't wait for more from this author.

Characters!

Omg literally was crying with Maddie whew love this book. I hope maybe there is more of these two amazing characters loved the story!!! I hope we get more books soon.

Obsessed!

I’m obsessed with this book. I was HOOKED the entire time. I set out to listen to one book a month and now here I am 3 days into February and wondering WHY there are no other titles from this author! I’ve never read this type of book before and now I’m obsessed. Might just listen again because it was THAT good!

Great plot! The zombie apocalypse and sapphic romance!

Wild ride!!

This book took me on an emotional roller coaster 🎢. The resilience of the main characters is beyond powerful. Well written story and the narration is impeccable. Can’t wait for more stories from this author ✍🏿.

Beautifully told!

I never give revenue had to on this one. It is hard to believe that this is Nicole Maser’s first book. The story was gripping and the narrator was perfect, telling the story like she was actually there. Beautifully done…..
