I liked it

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a good read even though I figured out who did it a few chapters before the ending. It was a nice quick read and I enjoyed it a lot.

Story good! Narration fantastic!

I absolutely loved this read and book. I love this series. I love the humor. I enjoy the characters and their interactions. The plot was compelling and surprising. I began reading the series because it was offered as a freebie with my audible subscription. I do watch the Death in paradise series on pbs but I didn’t realize that the author had written these. I like this series even better. I have enjoyed every moment of this listen and hope that there are many more to come.

Loved it!

Quirky characters and a fun mystery! Judith Potts is wonderful, fallible and compassionate. The author is one of my faves for a lighthearted listen.

Wonderful!

I think this is now my new favorite series! I love this unlikely trio of amateur sleuths and the “quiet” village of Marlow. I especially love that the detective in this story is not a complete bumbling idiot and is actually working with the main characters. That is very refreshing! I wish the TV series was more like the books. Maybe they will get there in latter episodes.

Wonderfully detailed story with an unexpected ending. Four very different friends follow clues to solve the murder of a a great Peer.

Absolutely loved this story. With so many clues and suspects, almost anyone could have done it!!!!

The incredible multi-characterization ability of the narrator!!

I didn't dislike anything. The story was cleverly woven through the lives of all the characters, and who couldn't love Judith?!

Delightful

I love Judith and her friends so much! The narrator does a fantastic job bringing everyone to life and the whole story from start to finish is a delightful puzzle you get to work out alongside Judith, Susie and Becks. I’m happy to visit Marlow anytime.

Entertaining

I enjoyed the story however the ending was a bit too complicated to follow and required several rewinds to ensure I understood all the details. Once I had, I was disappointed as the complexity made it too far fetched to believe. Overall an entertaining listen.
