The "Stakes" were cooked to perfection

What made the experience of listening to Deadly Stakes the most enjoyable?

I thought the story was well crafted, the action just right, the descriptions visual, and the characters alive. The production and narration were excellent.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Deadly Stakes?

When the kid discovers the lady out in the middle of nowhere. The author effectively painted the picture in vivid detail and communicated the angst of the discovery.

The ending

It was a secret until the very end. Great performance and story. More Ali Reynold stories please.

Love J.A. Jance

I can get enough of anything J.A. Jance! I love Ali Reynolds! I can't stop once I get started! I cannot figure out the murderer and am surprised at the end.

Not quite up to standard

A little disappointed in this book. Usually can't wait for the next Ali book,but this one was a little off her usual standards.

How much further to edge can J A Jance push it?!?! Amazing story with an amazing end!

Great suspense

Fan of the series since book one. This was second read (in prep for listening to the newest) and I still held my breath at the end.

Interesting and great story telling. I like the character Ali Reynolds very much so enjoyed getting to hear more about her adventures.

Starts off slow, but ends with a bang!

Once again a story with very believable characters. I follow Allie Reynolds, JP Beaumont, and anything else J A Jance writes.
