Fantastic!!!

Finally book 4 of the series comes out in audio, and it does not disappoint! This is a crucial book in the series, and although I have already read it, it was wonderful to listen to Johanna Parker's performance of it. Listen to the series in order, but do not miss this one!

One of my favorites so far.

Where does Dead to the World rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really liked the storyline with the witches and Eric and Sookies relationship. It is one of the best books so far.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this book, I like to hear about the "nice" Erik. It is a nice change.

Which character – as performed by Johanna Parker – was your favorite?

Sookie, hands down, but she has a great range for her characters. She always does a great job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh in some parts, but not cry. The only thing I didn't care for was the Ware-panther storyline. I could have lived without that. Not my favorite in the book or the tv show.

I can't put it down...

Great fun! I am thoroughly enjoying this series. The character is a person I'd like to hang out with; she keeps it real and full of life.

Witchy Issues

This book was fabulous! Johanna Parker is a fabulous narrator as she has been for the last 3 books. I. Love the way she uses inflection to really portray Sookie!! This book brings in fabulous new witches and werepanthers. I will however say that I felt that it took Sookie too long to figure out a couple things... Things I figured out very early in the book. So that was a bit irritating. But overall I truly enjoyed the story. Plus getting to see the VERY sexy Eric in a vulnerable position was truly perfect!!

I Love Sookie Stackhouse!!!

I waited to write a review until I listened to all 12 books. I loved them all. Sookie is a breath of fresh air small town girl who has had problems in the past with romance because she has the gift of reading minds. Imagine going on a date and hearing everything the guy was thinking... Not good. With vampires out of the closet, she finds she can't read vampire minds. Finally she can have true romance. There is also Mystery, Murder, and Mayhem and more supernatural creatures to be revealed!
I loved all the characters and how the story unfolded through all the books. It was bitter sweet that it had to come to an end. I was going to watch True Blood on HBO until friends told me it wasn't nearly as good as the books and had way too much porn!! I will leave the same review for all twelve books. Sookie just wouldn't be Sookie without Johanna Parker, I loved her voice!

I love the world of Sookie Stackhouse and the supers in her world! Beautifully written.

this book was fantastic. Excellent narration, exciting plot and sensational character development. The steamy scenes were absolutely fantastical. Loved it!

This remains my favorite

I've got a soft spot for Eric and despite the situation, they find themselves in this time around, it's kind of like a honeymoon break for Sookie which I heartily appreciate.

Best narrator I’ve heard!

Once again, Johanna Parker provides an excellent listening experience, portraying each character perfectly. I look forward to enjoying more of her work!
