About this listen

America's favorite vampire detective is back! Book 17 in the best-selling Vampire for Hire series!

Samantha Moon once considered being turned into a vampire as the single greatest upheaval of her life - but she'd been wrong.

Still reeling from the aftereffects of her hunt across the higher dimensions, she hopes for a little calm before the storm to sort out exactly what she's become, and what meaning the events of the sixth dimension have for the world at large.

The dark masters had been dangerous enough when contained, but now....

A zombie in a television show her kids love speaks to her straight out of the screen. Sam initially dismisses it as a trick of the mind, but when she runs into the same woman a few days later, it's quite obvious that the dark masters aren't sitting on their laurels.

Or are they?

Her new friend turns out to be a supernatural the world has never seen before, not for real - a zombie, or at least something similar. The young woman isn't rotting or mindless, but no self-respecting dark master would want such a shell.

Fearing this poor woman is the spearhead of the apocalypse, Sam rushes to find the source of the infection before humanity is doomed.

This series is a little crazy Samantha moon is a little out there with everything going on in her life but if you love vampire books you will love this one
only 1 thing She wrote them into series 1-26 and 1-12 they're both about her they follow each other But they're not the same you have to purchase both of them at the same time to keep up with her stories In this series she has a mansion that she inherited and I hope to god it doesn't go to fang please don't let it go to him I see Bad things happening there let her keep it and find out the mysteries of the house and then if she wants she can sell it but she needs to go into the basement and find out the mysteries please

I guess Zombies had to be in this series.

I loved this one. I hope we come across the zombie girl again in future books. It was fun.

A day in the life....

Okay, we know she is not ordinary, she's a private eye , immortal, pyshic vampirre and carries and big stick, or a black sword. And she has two extra ordinary kids; her son Anthony is no longer human, has a giant golden warrior he can call upon on. His sister Tammy is the worlds most powerful mind reader. Nothing to see here, move on, its just another part of Samantha moons life.(possible spoilers)
That is until she answer a call to help a woman whose husband has kidnapped their son. A sucker for these cases, she quickly does her thng, rescues the child, returns him to his mother, her kind heart has her taken her on a day long trip taking said woman and child to the woman's parents home. Fairly ordinary day as opposed to her usual battles against the Dark Masters and other supernatural baddies...
Unfortunately, the universe is not through with her for the night as she runs into a young woman, lterally who turns out to be a zombie. Yeah a new one there. The next few days has Sam attempting to prevent a Zombie apocalypse and trying figure out who is behind the girls transformation.
So we have a new 'Thing" to look forward to. Alnd this Zombie is not the TV/Movie type zombie. She can think and talk, as long as she is fed. She needs help trying to figure out what and or who did ths to her. Although being a zombie is not exactly a bad thing...much...maybe...
Yeah it's another adventure in the life of Samantha Moon and, once again she has anotehr mystery on her hands.
It started out fairlyy slow, for me, but I should know better, it quickly build with plenty of action, fighting, flying and oh yeah the Zombie thing...that turns out pretty cool as well. Really looking forward to the next installment.
