It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Whyyyyyyyyyyy.
Okay, I absolutely LOVED the story, but I hate the part about Spidroth being, well, WITH MAD MULLIGAN. Also, at the end of the book, when Carl asked Spidroth to stop with the “my love” part, I didn’t like the part where it said she GIGGLED. I just finished book 36, and it was AMAZING. And when I saw this in the “recommended” section, I started screaming and laughing and giggling all over the house. I literally stayed up until like midnight finishing this book. Don’t worry-it was worth it! I just want in the next book to TURN SPIDROTH BACK TO NORMAL PLEEEEEEAAAAAASE.

OG Minecraft story
while waiting for the next Dave the villager audiobook we listened to other Minecraft books, and they don't even compare. The story, vocabulary and the voices for each character makes this series Top of any others.
