About this listen
To break a curse, Penny Lane is forced to hunt down a husband among the wicked mages at Rosewood Academy before her 18th birthday. With only a weasel, her wits and a handful of lollipops, this witch with a sweet tooth sets out to tame one of those mages, but can she keep her heart from being devoured by notoriously wicked, Drake Huntsman, who is the big bad wolf and a dragon?
This modern fairytale will have you cheering for the witch and her happily ever after.
This slow-burn academy romance's first 6-book series is complete and ready to binge-read today.
Warning: Contains ridiculous situations with compelling characters, some cannibalism, a dash of swoon, and a plethora of tea parties.

Stop using AI to replace actual narrators
I don’t really know if this book was any good bc the AI narration was absolutely terrible. It would have been fine had I been listening to a textbook. However, there’s absolutely no sense of narrative nuance, which made the story more confusing than it wasn’t in many places. I didn’t even realize the book had ended until I was halfway through the end titles and had to go back to catch the ending to make sure I’d heard it correctly.
Get rid of AI narration, Audible. Seriously. Pay the trained and talented professionals the money to do the job that you - quite literally - couldn’t have created this app without. It’s a d*ck move, Audible. Not only for the narrators, but for the authors as well bc if the next book in this series (or any book at all) is narrated with AI, you can bet there will be a ton of us who feel the same way and won’t be paying to listen to it.
