Loved this audiobook!

This has been my FAV book of the series so far. The characters, including supporting characters, have continued to grow. Nothing tired here! Learning their motivations has been enlightening, and there are still a few whose true motivations have not been revealed. (I seriously can't wait to find out what is in store next!) The jungle scene/battle was fun and I loved the twist at the end of that chapter! Although Ema is new to the life, she is holding her own and I love that about her.

The narrator is phenomenal. She really brings all the characters to life. You can hear their feelings, their personalities through her voice.

This was such an enjoyable listen. I can't wait for the next!

Another win

I cannot love this series enough. Ema & Jesu are such deep characters and. their love and desires for each other leave you rooting for them and then breaking your heart because of the reality of their story. The twists this book takes you on and then leaves you hanging with are intense.

MJ Webb narrates with such emotion and her accents are wonderful.

Cliffhangers!

I love how every book ends on a cliffhanger. I'm so pumped for book 4! The narrator really makes this book. She is so incredibly talented!! Every character has their own voice and I absolutely love it! Can't wait for the next book in this series!

Great Listen!

Great continuation for the series and the author really sets up for the next book in the series. The storyline, plot, and character arcs progressed beautifully throughout the book and I didn’t find myself being bored.

The narrator is my all time favorite. Her voice seamlessly shifts between characters. The quality of the audio is crystal clear. Great improve from the first book in the series.

All in all, a wonderful story filled with action, suspense, romance, and keeps you guessing as to what happens next in a good way. Wonderful performance by the narrator. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Ema lost me a bit

I am a huge fan of Kick ass female hero stories. Ema kicked ASS in the last book. But this one lost me a bit. I am going to assume that her condition in this book is has a lot to do with it. But dang, I just wanted to yell at her to be be grateful!

Now Jesu has my heart. He doesn’t let himself get walked all over. I think that’s one of my favorite things about him. It’s not all about making her happy. His happiness is important too.

I listened to this on audible. Once again, the narrator, MJ Webb really makes the book. Her accents are killer and the difference in each character... dang it’s hard to believe that it is just one person reading.
