About this listen

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Carly Phillips returns to her sexy Dare world of rich billionaire sports heroes in her new DARE NATION SERIES!

She handles cocky jocks for a living, but her love life isn’t as successful.

Brianne Prescott, publicist for Dare Nation Sports Agency, grew up the only girl with four brothers, three of whom are sports royalty. She’s a pro not just at work but at being used by men who want access to her famous family. She’s learned the hard way that everyone wants something from her, always.

He’s her brother’s best friend and the first man who sees her for who she really is.

When Dr. Hudson Northfield rescues Bri from a homeless man outside the clinic where he works, he really notices her for the first time. Soon she’s accompanying him to New York for a family wedding, and despite her siblings’ overprotective protests, they’re falling in love.

But Hudson has a secret he can’t reveal. If he wants access to a trust fund in his name, his father demands something in return. Hudson has to marry and provide an heir or his dream of opening a state-of-the-art health center will be destroyed. Suddenly the man who didn’t need anything from her appears to be the biggest user of them all. Unless Hudson can convince her he can live without money but he can’t live without her.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new listeners, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Breann’s Story

I was happy that Breann got her love story told after assisting her brothers in their stories! She was strong and believable!

Too short for her

I was upset that the author did not take too much time for her story like all 4 brothers. She deserved a better story. I liked her from the beginning of the 4 stories.. she always took care of her stupid brothers. Buy, somehow I feel that her story was short she deserved better. So I am giving a 4 star.

Loved Brianne’s Story

Brianne is use to people using her because of her connection to her famous brothers and the athletes that she represents as their PR person. That included men she had dated.
Hudson came from money but marched to his own drum and refused I live by his dad’s rule. When asking his father for money from his trust fund that was left to him by his grandfather his father agreed but he had conditions. Hudson refused as he thought the conditions was outrageous.
I really enjoyed listening to Brianne’s story as it completes the Prescott siblings. Of course Joe Arden does what he does best. Another drool worthy narration.

Too short

Bree was deserving of a longer story. There should have been more background for Hudson. And it should have taken a bit longer for them to fall madly in love. Anyway it was a nice wrap to the series.

Never marry for Money

When you come from a rich family you are always wondering if they love you for your money or yourself.
When you take a trip with a guy you have been friends with forever and one thing leads to another then you happen to come across a conversation that hes having with your brother but only hear half the conversation you jump to the wrong conclusions and runaway.

ties up the loose ends perfectly

This is actually a part of a series of great novels that actually keeps you immersed in what's going on next for these characters. Only downfall, not long enough, I love extremely lengthy stories personally, but, it does continue and a wonderful read. Carly leaves nothing for the imagination. Very descriptive and I love it. A great little novella to tie up the loose ends.

AATKINSON

The sister should have gotten her own full length book, because she plays such a big part in everybody else’s life and everybody needed her for everything
