About this listen

War has come to Faery, and there’s no escaping the final battle. We thought we were ready for anything. We were wrong. I couldn’t change who I was, so Destiny stepped in, forcing me to become what Faery needed to face down our enemies.

Can I forgive what happened and move past the lies and betrayals? Or will I destroy a world to bring the man I love to his knees, requiring us to become the monsters the world wants us to be?

🌻Ohhh, the dreaded wait!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

It seems like the wait for the release of a new book, in this series, is soooo long, then I can’t help but to devour it within 24 hours of its’ release and the wait for the next release starts again.

This book starts with a bit of humor. Our lovely Heroine suffers from amnesia. In her mind, she returns to the 17 year old guild member who is in love with Adrian and absolutely hates the fae with all her heart. Therefore, the Hero is thrust back in time and has start over trying to convince the love of his life that she actually doesn’t hate him and his people. Of course, this ends up with banter between friends who are throughly enjoying seeing their friend struggle to win his girl’s affection all over again.

Of course, the entire book isn’t humorous and there are tear filled moments and betrayals revealed that make this listen an emotional roller coaster.

A perfect ending….

And an even better set up for the next spinoff.
I have read this series multiple times and have the completed set on audible as well. Highly recommend both for a complete listening, reading, immersion experience.
Well done, Amelia!

What kind of conclusion was this?

Amelia…I love you and all of your books, but what was this?! A cliffhanger in a supposed finished series? I mean, of course, this writing and performance were top notch as always, but this seemed so rushed and just a little…strange. No regrets on the credit spent, but I’m definitely too intrigued on where all of this is heading.

Good book, very salty, but missing info

A couple books ago new characters started sliding into the books w no introduction, alluding to past interactions. It was so confusing that I reread a book and still couldn't figure it out. Turns out the author has several series woven through this timeline. I liked them enough to go back and try to figure it out, but it would have been nice to read them in order.

The male Narrator sounds like John Wayne, not the best fit IMHO.

At the moment I’m p$ssed

Rape and unwanted graphic touching and no triggers about this given. I paid for a book that I have to skip chapters bc it was triggering. I’m not sure I can even finish at this point. I’m sick to my stomach.
