Good Book!

Regular Romantic single dad meets ex rock star small town girl!!! cute story, light sex scenes, super sweet!

Narrators

Male voice came off too old a lot of the time. Female voice had a weird lilt at the end of sentences during emotional or steamy scenes which was off putting. The story was good.

Really enjoyed this little tale about an ex- rocker (I picture a cross between Joan Jwt and Belinda) who is made human as the rest of us in this sweet neighbor meets neighbor ❤ story. I thought the angst between them seemed fairly realistic and not over the top. I liked that it was a slow burn though attraction was there from the start. I liked all the characters, even the typical hormonal teen.

Narration was terrific too! Nice to have both male and female performers.

Unlikely Pair

Rock star and Doctor? Certainly not what I would call a compatible couple. But ended up being a cute story. Loved the teenage daughter with the attitude. She was cute and funny as she tried to play cupid between her dad and the lady. I see that Abigail Strom has written other books. So I can only hope that they will become available on audio before long. The two narrator's of this book were very good. It was a pleasure to hear the female voice done by a female. And the male voice done by a male narrator. Really put a nice touch on the book for me.

The characters in this story were great. The story was believable showing peoples emotions like fear, jealousy, selfishness and vulnerability. Relationships between family, friends, parents and working through childhood issues.
