About this listen

A new threat has come to town....

After putting an end to the nightmare that haunted his childhood, Xander Stryker has gotten quite comfortable. Comfortable in his new life, comfortable in his budding relationship with the spellbinding Estella, and comfortable in his work with dealing with all manner of mythos, especially with Marcus by his side.

Until the arrival of a newcomer eager to rip apart anything tied to the Stryker family name...

Stronger, faster, and more brutal than anything they’ve faced before, Xander and Marcus find themselves in a race to save a city that’s become a killing field with Xander’s name all over it...literally.

It will take more than desperation and rage to put an end to this nightmare. Unfortunately, in Xander Stryker’s new life, nightmares have a tendency to fight back....

If you like grit, horror, and compelling character chemistry, take a bite out of the dark, supernatural series by Nathan Squiers.

Better pacing

I enjoyed the second book more than the first because it felt more fluid in the storytelling. The narrator continues to do a solid job of diverse characters and the author improved the way the story unfolds

Enjoyable listen. defiantly worth your time

This is the first book I have listened to from this author. I did not have the first book to read/listen to but I did not find it removed the enjoyment of this book, It I did take a few min to get into the story but it was very enjoyable. This book is fast paced with no major slowdowns in it. Xander is the main character. If you enjoy Vampire stories that are meant for adults then yes this is a very good story. Yes there is a romantic interest in this story but it dose not overshadow the story, it helps you feel for Xander and was enjoyable without overshadowing into a romance story.

The Narrator dose a good job in telling the story and is easy to understand.

Note: I received this copy of the book for the cost of writing a review like I do for many other Sci Fi/F authors. If I enjoy the book I post my review as soon as I can. If I do not like the book I will send my review to the author. This is a very enjoyable book and I hope I am asked to listen to more from this author

Urban Fantasy with unlikable characters

The main character is an angry a-hole. unfortunately, there's no one else in the book that's at all likeable, and I need at least one character to be likeable or at least redeemable and there just wasn't anyone. But I quit one hour in. so I don't know if it gets better. I just didn't care what happened to the MC.

the narration is excellent. so if you don't need a likeable MC, then this is the book for you.
