One hell of a ending

This entire book was completely amazing. I was hooked and couldn't stop listening to it. That being said, the ending about took my knees out. This is one hell of a cliffhanger. Thank God the next one's coming out soon.

Awesome Conclusion

This wonderful cast of narrators provide a literal voice for bringing this to an end & it was great! I devoured all 3 books in 2 days! I am curious about Gigi & her potential harem 😄

Amazing Story & Narration🎧 Twisted & Intense!

K. Loraine and Meg Anne deliver yet another outstanding and mind-blowing novel in the Twisted Cross Ranch series and the twists and turns keep coming. This story picks up where the first book, “Sinner’s Secrets” ended, which is not to be missed and needs to be read or listened to first. River and Cross learn what their fathers made them sign, and it surprises them both, but they are dealing with it, though Walker did not handle that news well. Another bombshell was learning what Bishop’s deal was and why he was on the ranch. There are many layers to this story and we get more answers as they unfold and pieces fall into place. River is still in the dark about what is really happening on at the ranch. Cross and Walker need to fill her in. Bishop has an idea, but has not shared the details with her either. With a threat and a power play looming, it becomes more dangerous for them and then a warning and message is left for them at the ranch’s gate. Unfortunately, that was not enough, and something worse happened in the end. There is never a dull moment in this book, besides the drama going on at the ranch and beyond. It was great to see River navigating her relationship with her men, and how accepting each was of the other. Once I started this book, I could not stop because I needed to know what happened next. The writing, plotting and world building are fantastic, as is the character growth and development. That jaw-dropping ending leaves you wanting more, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Meg Anne and K. Lorraine, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. 

🎧📚🎧 For the exceptional narration and fabulous line-up of talent, Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, Aaron Sherlock, and J.F. Harding continue to bring the characters to life with their outstanding performances. Their character voices have been consistent and I loved how each one took their roles and made them their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They continue to set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters' emotions and have you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers enhance an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Talk about a story

OMG, Holy s***. What a freaking story.. If you've read the first book you can not not read the second one. Not only is it hot and steamy. The twisted turns and anxiety of this book Gave me, holy S***. First of all, I listen to the audio absolutely fabulous cast and they did such an excellent job of bringing this to Life. But can I tell you? I was pacing the d*** floor at the end of the story. And now I can't freak in wait for the next one.. I have no idea how this is going to end. And how this story is going to go but I am here for it.

Excellent second in a series

I am hooked on this series. Really enjoying the performance - all the characters are interesting as is the story. 🌶🌶🌶 Looking forward to book three.

More Answers lead to More Questions

Book 2 in the series and must be read in sequence. Book 1 ended on a cliffhanger and we pickup immediately. This isn't the end of the story so there is another cliff. Just saying.

This series is like watching those TV drama shows my mom and grandmother loved when I was a kid. The soap operas that were a little more believable and they were at night? Do you know what I'm talking about? Dallas, Dynasty and Knots Landing? Well, I'm totally aging myself here... so lets move on shall we... The cliff hanger from Book 1 was like a season finale of one of these high drama shows and I'm so glad I didn't need to wait 4 months to find out what happened next.

As with the first book, we get drama and tension, we get some answers but still more questions come from it. All 4 of our main characters are reeling with the knowledge that Cross & River have been married for all this time and not even they knew about it (talk about a secret marriage). So we get to see flashbacks of the night they "wed" and learn more about the fallout that led River to hate Cross with the fire of a thousand suns and head to Alaska, while still harboring feels deep down.

Add into the mix Bishop (and all his secrets), Walker (and all his wounds, that boy gets into a lot of trouble) and now Bear (River's MC member surrogate brother from Alaska) and River has her hands full trying to understand her own feels let alone appease all these other people. *sing song voice* Dra--ma!!! and I LOVE IT.

The audiobook was narrated in duet style so it's even more like a TV show in my brain. Stella does an amazing job as River and all the other females in the cast. Jason as grumpy, serious Cross is just growly perfection. Did you know you can sound wistfully tender about someone while still sounding like a gruff a$$hole? Jason pulled it off. Aaron made me laugh several times as Walker (you know after he recovered from the anger of the marriage) and JF as Bishop is calm and steady and supportive. He wants what she wants (including orgasms).

The only thing that would make this better is popcorn and it to be a movie. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Corruptor's Claim by K. Loraine and Meg Anne is a dark cowboy mafia why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, and J.F. Harding. This is the second book in the Twisted Cross Ranch series.

I absolutely love Kim and Meg's books and when you make them into an audiobook with this cast, you can't help but become obsessed with them. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between River, Walker, Daniel, and Bishop. I loved getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended with a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Deadly Debt to be released on October 9, 2023, so I can get more of their story.

Stella, Jason, Aaron, and J.F. did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this series if you like dark romances, cowboy romances, mafia romances, or why choose romances.
