Alexis Was Annoying

Alexis was extremely annoying in this book. Extremely self righteous. Even after learning about her father she still chose betrayal.

Decent continuation

I didn’t hate this continuation. But I hated how Alexis’ character changed. Granted, this is mafia romance, but she went from loving it… to absolute and utter betrayal. Gabriel at the end was precisely what you’d expect. I liked that side of him.

all I want to say is book two was crazy I am so irritated with little Miss thing for constantly being stupid and putting Gabriel in harm's Way when she knows that he's the mother of your boss. I cannot wait to see what book three brings because I am so here for Gabriel's grass please take the city and put that woman in check narrators love love them oh my God the male narrator voice is sexy as ever definitely going to keep this one for my archive

Betrayal x 100000

I've read book 1 and felt bad for Alexis. I thought she was a bit too snarky, judgemental and hypocritical and this book proves I was right. I dislike her character and I am officially rooting for Gabriel 😩😉

Hate Accents

Story line is pretty on par for Mafia romance but the accents are a bit cheesy to me. Otherwise I will listen to another book by the author.

Awesome Series... in spite of Alexis being Super Naive or self-righteous... This is a Great Story. LOVE the Passion that she And MMC have. Lot's of surprising characters and their relation between all the characters! I must say... I say don't get swayed with all the Stupid stuff that happens.... this is a Good 💯 Series✨

Well from the looks of the comments I see that I wasn't the only one who was pissed at Alexis. I mean this almost die for you, showed you who your father truly was and you still betrayed him ugh. Also don't get me started on her boss she pissed me off too kept pushing her to do it man I would of said eff that job and stuck by my man.

I HATE ALEXIS

Story was great, but dang, I just can’t with Alexis. I think I spent the entire first book and now the majority of this one, calling her a variety of colorful names. She is a selfish entitled brat. I just wanted to punch her in the throat. Her level of betrayal is just gross. Otherwise, a good read

Gabriel & Alexis

Disliked Alexis’ inner thoughts she couldn’t make her mine up and put Gabriel in awkward situations. Gabriel was who he was because of watching what happened to his father (understandable) but not acceptable. Male narrator did a fantastic job. Onto book #3.

I tried my best

I really wanted to love this but Alexis was annoying. The “I love you but will betray you” was obnoxious. She was selfish and a brat. I want to get to book 3 but not sure I can do it…
