Really enjoyed it. Seemed a little rushed at the end but not enough to dislike it. Narration was good.

Corrupted Heir is book 1 in the Mafia Kings series. Dominic Luca is the heir apparent to take over the Luca family business. His father arranges his marriage to Fallon, soft-hearted veterinarian and feisty daughter of the Police Chief. When Fallon's life is threatened more than once, Dominic fights to protect her. When past secrets are revealed, Fallon must decide to either embrace her new life or fight it for her freedom. This story is so good. I love all of Dom's family members. And the end...AH!

The narrators were new to me, but I sure loved their performance. Jenna Joyce had the perfect blend of sugar and spice of Fallon. Pete Malone was perfect as Dominic, all alpha-like and demanding. 5 star performance for this duo.

Loved the story. Disappointed that I don’t see a 2nd book. Always looking for a new author to follow!

Great mafia steam

From start to finish I loved it. I love all the teasing not to mention the steamy.

🔘 WHAT A GREAT FIRST BOOK 🔘

Everything here was new to me.. the author, both narrators and the Mafia Kings themselves but I took a chance.. which thankfully paid off. I love Mafia arranged marriages and I was pleased that the caring Veterinarian Fallon wasn’t a naive virgin or that Heir to the bloody throne Dominic wasn’t instantly transformed into a possessive obsessed monster.. even if I do SO like them that way 😜. Oil and water.. enemies forced into a marriage but, through pushbacks, threats, drama, suspense, bloodshed and tears, it will become a solid loving partnership.

Worth a credit? Yes I really enjoyed this fast-paced story and its great dual POV narration which brought the characters and the emotions, tension, buildup, clashes, chemistry and heat contained in their bumpy journey, to life. It ends on a happy note but there are unanswered tbc questions that will hopefully be answered in the next book in the series. I would’ve liked a little more detail and infill on some things that would’ve given a bigger broader picture of things that just weren’t mentioned.. however, it’s still a great start and I’m looking forward to more.

My first book🎧📕from Kiana Hettinger and I really wanted to embrace it since it started off with a bang! Sadly it kinda just got a bit boring, predictable & rushed in the end. Speaking of endings, it stated that this was a stand alone book but it ends with a cliffhanger of sorts don’t want to give it all away but WTH. Is it worth the credit? For me it’s a No.

Not impressed at all

I just couldn’t understand how a presumed independent, successful and grown up woman could be as dumb as a rock. The story painted for me a fickle air head woman with no common sense or self respect for herself. In this day and age I don’t know any woman whose life mission and ambition is making her corrupt father happy and agree to go on a date to do him a favor. What a disappointment!
