good voice acting

found the first book as filler between credits. I have enjoyed the series so far.

not as good as the 1st

this second book feels like its written by a different writer. wording is different. speech feel different. story on track though.

Wowzers!

man, between Gary's phenomenal voice acting and Aron's great story telling it was quite the emotional experience.

The creativity of Aron's writing made the fights tense, the dialogues emotional, and the bedroom scenes passionate. while I didn't cry I definitely laughed my ass off.

Gary's performance elevated the story and gave more personality to each and every character, female included.

I will say though the cries of ecstasy that Gary made was absolutely cringe worthy. reminding me of high school and how some troublemakers would make sounds of women in ecstasy in the halls to attract attention. needless to say everytime he performed one of these events I start snorting with laughter.

I highly recommend this series to people who enjoy a good dose of story and plot in their smut, and for those who love a good chuckle at dick jokes.

To much porn

Story is good however did not need the detail of the sexual encounters. Will not listen to remainder of series.

very intertwining

loved it! kept me wondering what's next. the narrative was good also loved the accent! can't wait to r ead the next book!

Surprisingly compelling

I expected this series to be just like any other raunchy series, but it has a surprisingly compelling story.

So enjoyable

Rarely do I audibly laugh while reading/listening to a book. But, with this series it happens all the time, largely due to the timing and performance of Gary Furlong. This is so worth your time.

decent story

I found the second book in this series similar to the first but I am confused about the likeable mc with a noble cause. so far every champion and every brief aquaintance he has run into either wants to join him or sacrafice thier life for him.
If you want us to buy the fact that the mc is worth dying for and awesome, he should at least have some noteable good qualities.

Great listen

The narrator does a fantastic job of emphasizing the emotions behind the words of this series. I love getting goosebumps from a good book.

can't wait for book 3

this story keeps getting better and better. the characters are so well written and are complex as you can see the struggle that each character is going through in order to hold on to who they are. by the end of this book, I know I will be getting the third book barry, very soon
