Si eres gorda te libera, si eres delgada te enseña.
Hubo algo tan poderoso en la forma de abordar todos los puntos del tema que lo hace sumamente ameno, el capítulo sobre el ejercicio me reconcilió con el movimiento de mi cuerpo. Es una terapia completa.

Un viaje aparentemente "ajeno" que transforma
Hay temas de los que no queremos oír porque es probable que nos parezcan ajenos, aburridos o trillados. Éste es uno de ellos. Sin embargo, al escuchar el material, uno se va a descubrir más de una vez, sintiéndose como el destinatario principal.
Lo increíble de la exploración es que te lleva a SENTIR y PENSAR:
Te hace SENTIR incomodidad, molestia e incluso rabia. Te hace SENTIR un poco o mucho de culpa y vergüenza, al entender que por ignorancia o inacción, has discriminado a otros y les has herido. Pero también te hace SENTIR cómo la pasión y lucha alrededor del tema, es un valor puro y tan fuerte que termina emocionándote.
A la par, experimentas un debate interno entre cuestionar, señalar y/o pensar que el contenido busca cumplir una agenda oculta muy bien justificada (a lo que estamos tristemente acostumbrados); sin embargo, la honestidad de quienes exponen su vida ante el micrófono, aunado a los datos y fuentes concretas que se nos presentan, terminan moviendo la balanza para dejar a un lado la desconfianza y abrirse a escuchar, aprender y ser empático con otros... y contigo.
Es un podcast ágil, que con atinados recursos sonoros, resulta ligero, cercano y te engancha para oírlo hasta el final, dejándote con un deseo de querer hacer mejor las cosas, aceptándote y amándote más así como eres, para poder aceptar y amar a otros, como quiera que sean.

Aprendí mucho
Me encantó la producción y lo que representa para las personas gordas. Aprendí muchísimo de lo que es la gordofobia y qué significa ser una gorda libre. En cada capítulo aprendí algo nuevo y que lo que siempre pensaba de la gente gorda no era verdad. Con lo que más me quedo es que las dietas no funcionan y que lo más importante es ser activo. Nunca he escuchado algo como esta producción en español. La manera que fue construida, sus sonidos y como fluye de episodio a episodio. Cada episodio me llama la atención y me inspiró a buscar más información y compartir lo que aprendí con mi mamá y mi papá y amigos. Muy recomendada.

Te informa, conmueve y motiva para luchar por la justicia
Esta serie tiene información basada en ciencia sorprendente y también historias conmovedoras- todo entrelazado con una edición excelente que te engancha desde el principio. Me encantó ser guiada por Miriam y las otras expertas y activistas. Recomiendo mucho esta serie que reúne capítulos oscuros de la historia, realidades actuales y una visión para un mundo más justo y bello.

Excellent podcast about fighting fat phobia.
Excellent presentation. I learned so much about fat phobia and it’s effects on individuals and society. Definitely a “must-listen” for anyone who works in healthcare. The amount of medical mistreatment of patients who are fat is simply unacceptable.

Es de estos podcasts que no puedes dejar de escuchar, porque está tan bien hecho. Trata de un tema que nos impacta a todes, con una autenticidad y intimidad hermosa. Y si!
