About this listen

Aunt Clara made the best chocolate chip cookies in the whole world! When asked what her secret to such delicious cookies was, she would always say, 'LOVE', of course! She was constantly delivering plates of delicious cookies to others and loved every minute of it!

Aunt Clara was in her 30's now and the rest of the family thought it was time that she should be married and settling down with some children of her own. When the subject would come up, she would always laugh and say, "Would you like another chocolate chip cookie?" ...and seemed to manage to change the subject.

Unbeknown to Aunt Clara, the rest of the family met together to plan how they were going to find just the right Christmas groom for Aunt Clara!

It's time to get a copy of Christy Webb's entertaining book and enjoy the holidays while reading about Aunt Clara. It wouldn't hurt to grab a chocolate chip ookie and a cup of hot chocolate while you're at it! Happy Holidays!

What a scrumptious surprise!

Such a cute story! I loved how wholesome and innocent the stories are. Definitely a wonderful story for all ages. Now I want to make cookies and treats!

loved it except for a few minor things

first of all I have never heard of mail order groom so much as I have a mail order bride. so I had to keep telling myself that the man was the one in question not the woman. the woman was searching without even knowing. the fast that the sisters were the ones who placed the add made me feel almost hallmark momenty. but 4 sisters is a bit much for a typical family. 3 tops, but 4 is pushiong it a bit. they visited slc and it made me wonder if this was a mormon thing to explain the 4 sisters, but when getting to the church sunday part it was mentioned like in passing with as few details as possible. so no clue if it was just a church or if it were a mormom thing. the falling in love was pushed too fast, but its less than 2 hours so there isnt much room to really explain every little detail of ever little date between first meeting and lets get married. i assumed there were more than the few times mentioned in this relationship total because otherwise i would say people dont normally fall this fast. but the thing that drove me the most annoyed was first i dont see how placing adds for a mail order anything is even possible or legal these days. it seems like something foreign contries would do ages ago or even still today, but i seriously doubt it. why did the sisters not just make a fake dating profile and screen her matches that way its more up to date with reality. anyway the second thing that annoed me the most was the sweet thing. for some reason the word just didnt sound right. maybe honey or darling would have been better, but i prefer no prefixes at all and just say my name period.
