About this listen

Three hot, protective wolf shifters want to claim me as their own. They’re going to have to learn to share.

When I caught Ridge staring at me across the room in that busy nightclub, I could feel his desire piercing right through me.

He was tall, chiseled, and by far, the hottest guy in the room, but I could feel there was something forbidden and dangerous about him.

I felt entranced by him...totally captivated by his alpha male presence. He had a secret. He was the most powerful wolf shifter in his pack. He knew I was inexperienced. I could feel that he wanted to selfishly steal my v-card and claim me. He wanted to own me and protect me from the dangers on this island that was my new home.

I knew I should’ve ran as fast as possible in the opposite direction, but I couldn’t move. I was paralyzed with desire for this guy I knew was off-limits.

Little did I know that other members of his pack, Grayson and Chase, would also want me and will do anything to stake their claim. I have a secret, though - I want them all. I don’t want to choose one.

Should I let them share me and steal my innocence forever?

Too many wolves want her

I liked the story, but the narrator wasn't real good at doing female voices. One reminded me of the "I'll sock it to you, baby," voice from that seventies song. Yes, I'm old. Lol.

Human woman, Cheyenne, has come to a Pacific island to declare her independence by taking a job a long way from home. Being a curvy Native American, she is often overlooked when thinner girls are around. When she meets the good looking Ridge at a local bar, she is dubious about his interest in her. He seems to enjoy talking to her, but he never actually asks her out... then he kidnaps her.

Wolf shifter, Ridge, grew up in the wild and is just now really learning about being a human in a human world. The old ways are more familar to him, though his alphas have put the cabash on kidnapping women to make them your mate. He is sure that Cheyenne is his mate and he is too impatient to have her to go through the human dating rituals. Of course, this is not going to work out well for him. His problems multiply when his two best friends decide they want her, too.

too much like a teenager

Story line is good. But I could not get past the way the narration was written. To me, it sounded like something my teenager would write. I just could not enjoy it due to that. Jon Bryant was good, it was just how it was written.

Great Story but Not Right Narractor

I love Jade Alter's stories and I got excited learning that it had come out on audiobook. I feel the narrator for this didn't fit right at all. I wasn't keen on how he did the female voices and some of the male ones. I enjoyed the story still!

Bad narrator

I couldn’t get in to this book. The narrator was bad at some of the women’s voices. Also the pronunciation of some of the words would ruin the story for me.

story alright, but needs editing

The story isn't bad, but the grammar is. The book needs editing, and the reader mispronounced words throughout. I had to knock stars off for the grammar and the pronunciation errors. Both of these things make a story less enjoyable when they are so prolific.

Brotha Needs to E-NUN-CI-ATE.

So, the first three chapters were some sort of awkward legalese, which immediately made me double-check the title. Did I download "Law Stuff for Dummies"?

But then... Jon Bryan. THIS guy. I don't know why it's so hard for some of my peeps to correctly pronounce certain words...It isn't difficult for me, and I'm just a meager training instructor...but I'm only about five minutes into the first chapter (chapter four, thanks to all that random legal stuff) and I'm a!ready cringing. Another four hours to go. Yikes.

This is proof that a good voice is NOT an automatic "in" into the world of narration.

I PAID for this audible. Y'all couldn't at least give the narration the ol' "once over" for proofing? Dude.

Listen. It's WALK, not WOK. It's BEAUTIFUL, not BOOTIFUL. It's JUST, not JISS. It's PLACATE, not PLAY-SATE.

So my finger hovered over the "rate and review" button, and that last poorly-pronounced word un-shocked me back into action. I started writing this review (hopefully removing all the curse words from my first go-round), and it dawned on me...

I've a!ready listened to this book. It's free on a public streaming site. And I remember that, even then, even when it was FREE, I just couldn't. I think I lasted five chapters then.

I also can't now. I'm sorry. I can't rate the story, because I can't HEAR the story.

Oh geezus. He just said, "bootiful" again. I can't. I'm out.

Claimed by the pack a hot taboo treat !!!!

Cheyenne, Ridge, Chase, Grayson,
This story was definitely smokin hot with an intriguing storyline that kept me thirsty excited and on edge from the very beginning to the jaw dropping end a perfect dessert to a long day very interesting they
understand the need for physical touch and not just sexual. They are warm and affectionate with each other and use touch to express their emotions a amazing fantasy of taboo love its mouth-watering, panty-dropping, over-the-edge ecstasy, I just could NOT get enough of this naughty little morsel it's a tasty little treat !!!!!
The narrator did a wonderful job of bringing the story to life I could listen to it all day.
YEAH I LOVED THE NARRATION!
