About this listen

In this action-packed story from a New York Times bestselling author, a ruthless killer is seeking to overturn the world order—and our only hope is vigilante justice.

Since Lamont Cranston—known to a select few as the Shadow—defeated Shiwan Khan and ended his reign of terror over New York one year ago, the city has started to regenerate.

But there is evil brewing elsewhere. And this time the entire world is under threat.

Which is why Lamont has scoured the globe to assemble a team with unmatched talent. Only their combined powers can foil an enemy with ambitions and abilities beyond anyone's deepest fears.

As their mission takes them across the globe and into the highest corridors of power—pushing them beyond their limits—can justice prevail?

The Shadow Returns... Again

This is the second Shadow novel by this team. Bringing him forward into a world 150 years after his original adventures. The first book was...a bit rough, trying to create this new world and it suffered from that. This novel has an easier path with that world in place and we get to move on to straight out adventures. Is it perfect? No, but it is a good story. I found this to be quite enjoyable. Just don't expect it to be exactly like the original pulps.

The Shadow Grows

I hAve ready many if The Shadow pulps. I am amazed how the authors can blend the pulp snd Radio stories to bring s new story line into existence. Any plot devices used, i see as consistent with the initial premise. I look forward in the next installment. For the critics, it is easier to carp than it is to write.

Different!

The first line of five stars should only be 3. I don’t know how to erase them.. I. Would never know this was a. Patterson book if his name wasn’t on. the cover. I don’t know whether I would recommend this book or. not. It left me puzzled!

Grit and Determination

Don't like supernatural novels , no realism, no connection to the real world. i like James Patterson's Alex Cross John Sampson's novels MUCH better

not good

It's hard to believe this is a James Patterson book. It's like the publisher slapped his name on it to sell it. This book is on its own, It should be on the New York Times worst seller.

keep looking

I never take time to write reviews, but this one time, I need to say my opinion. This story is filled with action and magic, too much magic. Whenever the "heros" need to do something, they had it available as magic... Its ok but again the heros just jump on a plane, solve the dilema and in a few hours, they are saving the world again....

Only putting one star to show it as a valid review

This was as confusing convuluted unrealistic a book I’ve ever read /listened to I had no idea what happened throughout the entire book and frankly didn’t care. I read bc I listen/read all of his books. I must have gotten through the first book and probably left confused and hopeful there was never a second book. Please no more of this series I have no idea why this maybe it past any editor.

Sucked

That book was way beneath James Patterson. I really enjoy James Patterson books that when I should really get my money back, it was shameful
