Very anti-forgiveness

Be aware that this book has a negative view of forgiveness toward an unfaithful partner and doesn't really distinguish between people who continue the cheating behavior and those who make amends. It also erroneously combines forgiveness and reconciliation which are two different things. It views forgiveness as detrimental to the betrayed partner and is very negative in terms of couples staying together. Not pro-marriage. Not the book for you if you're looking to heal together.
