Adam Park is a devout bachelor who's been roped into best man duties for a ritzy NYC wedding. Maya Davis is a hopeless romantic and owner of It's Personal, a small business specializing in customized gifts.
When Adam picks It's Personal to make champagne flutes for the engagement party, a promising online flirtation ends with a disastrous first meeting.
Adam wins a second chance, but the road ahead is rough. Eager bridesmaids and exes want Adam for themselves, and Maya must face deep-rooted insecurities because she's not his usual type. Once Adam learns to fight for a real relationship and Maya overcomes her unresolved trauma, they discover whether champagne kisses can grow into love.

The sex was hot. Unfortunately, the romance was tepid. Where was the obsession? The possession? The defense? The pursuit? All missing. During the obligatory 3rd act separation the h has a few bad days then goes back to normal life with her cat, her work, and her trashy friends. Weird. And the major conflict? The H doesn't think she's beautiful. Umm... welcome to reality. Objective beauty has very specific metrics, subjective beauty has none. Adam was extremely attracted to Maya, which is a damn good start. The more they get to know each other, the more beautiful she’ll become to him. IMHO, not being perfect shouldn't throw a person into a tailspin that requires therapy. Maya, go touch grass. Not everything is a mental illness. To be clear: this h was a successful entrepreneur, had an active romantic life before meeting the H, had no problem initiating sex, had zero shame walking around naked, and made bold sartorial choices (I mean, she didn't dress down once or wear a single pair of pants the entire book, meanwhile, irl, most of the western world lives in jeans and ath-leisure). Does that sound like someone with body issues?
Not bad
