Loved it

I enjoyed this story. As we delve into the lives of this up and coming country rock band and the talent scout looking to sign them, it soon becomes apparent that things aren't as they seem. Catch Me When I Fall was intense and gripping and will have you hooked from start to finish. With engaging characters, and an engrossing storyline, this novel had it all, drama, secrets, vengeance, romantic tension, sweet and steamy scenes and more. I could not put it down and would recommend it to all romance lovers.

Virginia Rose and Jason Clarke did a fantastic job with the narration. Virginia had that southern accent that was just perfect for Emily and Jason's deep voice was absolutely perfect for Royce. They created varying voices for the different character, had excellent pace and timing and infused emotions into the narration bringing the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Both the storyline and narration were spot on! Thank you for writing such an enjoyable book. Royce and Emily forever!

What did I just listen to

Okay. I feel like all of the reviewers who loved this and felt so much about this book read a different book than I did... or listened to...? The entirety of the book there felt like missing pieces, and so overly poetic and dramatic and repetitive that I rolled my eyes so many times and was confused half the time as to what the point was... Jason Clarke does a very delicious male voice, but aside from that, I didn’t feel satisfied after finishing it.

Such a great story.

I was so excited when I heard we were finally going to get a book about Carolina George. These characters have been popping up in a few other series. So I was hoping we would get their stories. This was such a great story I loved the chemistry between Royce and Emily. It was so intense right off the start. The story was filled with so much angst that once I started listening I couldn't stop. I thought Virginia Rose and Jason Clarke did a great job bringing the story to life.

Heartwrenching

AL Jackson knows how to write a tortured soul. She weaved a story with lots of depth and emotion making you feel everything her characters were feeling. This story pulled on the heart strings with so much angst I wasn’t sure I would survive. There was passion and heartbreak and romance all swirled together for a perfectly angsty romance.

Jason Clarke’s smooth voice conveyed the torment and tragedy while also making you feel the passion. I felt all those emotions straight to my bones. Virginia Rose did a great job conveying Emily’s hurt and torment but there were a few times her voice just changed in the middle of a thought and it was weird. Other than that these two put on a great narration together.

Perfect

I loved this story. As always, an unexpected twist in the end. Definitely a HEA. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the band!!

A good time passer.

An easy listen. Great for passing the time easy to pick up put down. Not a page-turner but enjoyable.

Liked this one quite a bit more than the first. Sexy insta-lust with an oh sh*t moment! 😱 slow burn, messed up pasts and I do mean WTF! Not dark wtf, but...wtf.
