I loved when Weston and Elizabeth finally got together. There was such an incredible build up to it and it was hot!

This is book 1 of a duet which I didn't realize when I started it. As I got closer to the end, I kept thinking how are they going to wrap it up in this short amount of time, well that's because there is another book to finish Weston and Elizabeth's story which I can't wait for.

The book was well narrated. Jacob and Elena did a terrific job with the narration. I never wanted to get out of my car so that I could finish the story. Laurelin Paige is one of my favorite writers and I love the characters she brings to life. Weston and Elizabeth had me intrigued when I first met them in the Dirty duet. Their story is a great enemies to lovers story. There was such pent up heat built up between them that it erupted when they finally got together. I can't wait to finish their story!

Intense Romance

I must admit I only gave this novel a go because it was included in my Romance Package. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Now I'm disappointed that I have to wait a month to find out how the story ends in book 2.
I enjoyed the introspection and first person narrationfrom two points of view, male and female lead.
The plot had a few twists and turns, especially at the end, although I'd describe it more of a character-driven novel than a plot-driven one.
The author avoids cliches and brings originality and depth to a much used storyline of an arranged marriage in which real love flourishes, bringing plenty of unexpected problems.
The audio narrators were excellent.

SEXY HOT READ!!

I loved hearing Elizabeth and Weston story, be told. This story had all the feels we look for in Laurelin Paige's books. The narration by Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan was spot on, sexy and enjoyable like you were watching the story play out.

Fun and sexy

A great read. This is Elizabeth and Weston’s story. It’s sexy and captivating. It will have you feeling all sorts of emotions. It has characters you will love. I enjoyed the banter and the chemistry between the characters was sizzling and steamy! I’m enjoying reading about their journey as their relationship grows. It’s entertaining and look forward to reading(listening) to more.

The audio narrators Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan did an incredible job! Their performances were captivating and entertaining and brought the characters heat level to life. Jacob Morgan’s voice is sexy!

Any of the series, and pretty much anything by Laurelin Paige who writes excellent male heroes.

my favorit auther

laurelin did it again. She drew me in and got me hooked from the first line to the last. and good damn that ending. I need the rest. how can I wait for the next book.
Westin and Elisabeths wedding is only supposed to be a performance marrige. But from the first minute they lay eyes on eachother the sparks fly and it is only a matter of time before it explodes.
laurelin got two of the best narrators out there to narrate this book. and they dont dissapoint. Elena and Jacob brings all the passion and love to this book that it needs and help make it so hot that you are glad it is only you that can hear what Happens in your headphones.
this is not my first laurelin book, and it sure wount be my last. She is my favorit auther.

Sexy, Heartthrob Weston!

I loved this fake to real true love story. Jacob Morgan brought Weston to life, as did Elena Wolfe do for Elizabeth. Their voice portrayals made me live in the story.

The love and sex scenes were so well done- intriguing, & hot, hot, hot.

The bad part was that the story just dropped at the end, with huge loose ends dangling. While I realize there is a second book, this first book which required a credit should have some type of resolution; it just ended too abruptly.

I'm so in love and soo sad.

Why do I still expect to come away unscathed from Laurelin's books. She kills me every time, but it's always worth it

I WAS HOOKED AND HAPPY FROM THE START

What a great angst-ridden story.. I didn’t want to stop it - and barely did as the planned pre-arranged fake marriage turned into so much more. There are quite a few romance books out there with the same sort of trope but this book was fresh and exciting as Playboy Weston slowly makes room in his home and heart for Elizabeth, how he battles with strange new feelings and how, despite his good intentions, he gets sideswiped at the end. And, for Elizabeth, a fake marriage will release her cousin’s hold over her father’s company.. the one she’s yearned for for so long and should’ve inherited but, the more she gets to know Weston, the more she likes him. In fact, the more they bicker and verbally spar with each other the more she’s drawn towards him and the more their lives blend the closer they become. However, Elizabeth has to remind herself over and over and over again that it isn’t real.. that they’re just pretending.. and most importantly that it’s got an end date.

This trio delivered a very entertaining dual POV listen that had humor, angst, oceans of feels and a wonderful build-up of sizzling chemistry, lust and love... but sadly that might not be enough to save this pair. So I’m off to listen to the second book in this Duet now.. eager to hear how the games will continue. Nice descriptive scenes, tension and tingles mingled, character growth and a nice balance of sexy scenes.

Worth a credit? Yes it definitely would’ve been.. but both of these books are available in the Romance Package so yay I didn’t need to use one.. which made it even sweeter.
