Publisher's summary

From one of the authors of The Cartel series, there's a new branch.

On a beautiful island in the Caribbean, a woman with a checkered past has retired from a life of crime. She is now raising her son, trying to spare him from the ills that her former life provided. However, in a blink of an eye it all changes. When a wealthy tourist gets entangled with her son, it forces Aries to show who she really is and her old connections are called.

This smart and fast-paced island thriller brings out the devil that no one knows but will surely soon find out about. The mental chess game played leads up to a unique ending no one can see coming.

JaQuavis Coleman, author of The Cartel series series, starts a new branch to the family tree known as the Cartel. He manages to turn the beautiful Caribbean island into dark place with his new masterpiece...Cartel Queen.

The intro kind of dragged

Ive probably read all the books this author has written and in the beginning of this book -it dragged. I see now that it was trying to set the scene and characters- It was different and still a very good story. I feel a series coming🤞🏽❤️‍🔥 I’m here for it. #ForeverFan

JaQuavis has never failed me

This is a good spin off story. Leaving me eager for the follow up book.

Narration

The story line is very good and kept me intrigued from start to finish. But The narrator just doesn’t do it for me. His voice doesn’t give Aries or any female characters. And there really was no difference in the male characters either. I usually don’t listen to books with this narrator but because I am a Cartel and Ashley And JaQuavis fan, I went ahead and pushed through. I’ll be waiting on part 2 to see how the ladies get out of this mess!

Loved this book

I liked how the girls got back together in the end to get even with who killed her son. I hated the fact that Crow lied on everyone and got innocent people killed. I believed she and Saint would have made a good couple

Great story

A fan of JaQuavis Coleman’ s writing. Look forward to listening to the continuation of this story. Great narration by Cary Hite as usual. Thank you both.

Ms Pat

I always love the narrator. He makes the story sound even more interesting. There is not one book that I have not loved by this author, I'm just wondering what took him so long. Pease hurry and put out the sequel.
