Detailed for those thinking of adoption both domestic and international. The auther has a heart for the Adoptived Mother and the child in question. As so rightly title, this book is for those who God has called to be parents and preparing your heart for the coming challenges and rewards that come with adopt.

I loved this book. It opened up so many things I never thought of and gave me confidence to continue with my journey of adoption.

good basic overview

Good basic overview of adoption written from the viewpoint of an adoption professional... scripture based... 80% for adoption of new borns

Should be titled "Called to Infant Adoption"

This is a wonderful introductory overview to adoption overall, but is especially well sure to those who are experiencing infertility and considering infant adoption. That is not our family's situation. We have two biological sons, and are not necessarily interested in an infant. It would have been very meaningful for me to have the prayers etc. say "your child" rather than "your baby."

That said, I still found this book, especially the early chapters, helpful.
