Fangs..wings..yes please.

I had to come back and review bc as soon as I finished this book I went straight to the next. It was easy to get dragged into Luca & Cair’s world. And those two are….addicting, from the tension, love, to the steamy bits, all of it. This has definitely gotten me to go down the monster / mm romance whole and I’m enjoying myself thoroughly.

Kingdom of Luca

This was a hands down 5 stars for me. The character dynamic between Cair and Luca is adorable and so well written. The Author blended the veil worlds beautifully. MM. Paranormal. Spice 3.5. DualPov.
Cair is the Fae prince who is emotionally stunted my his upbringing and responsibilities to his kingdom. He is restricted by the bargain he made to his father the king.
Luca the 25 year old unemployed human needs a job desperately enough to cross the veil. His world changed in an instant; he is finally where he was always meant to be.

I have read the ebook and listened to the audio. I do prefer the book over the audio. The voices were a bit of a miss for me. The gents did a great job narrating, I just think that didn't they were not well matched(so its a me thing not a criticism).

Fae + Human? = some hot tension

I rad the book and LOVED the book. As some stated before the ending is kind of abrupt, BUT it's to lure you into the next book. I love the narrator performance for this story & author. Both narrators fit both main characters perfectly. It really brought the entire story to life.
I would say both the book and audio are equal in terms of which is better. I'm an audio snob (So I can craft, cook and do things in my house) but I also enjoyed the book and read it ravenously.
I can't wait for the audio for book 2 if that is greenlit!

First time

It's the first book from this author and the book didn't disappoint! I love the diverse characters, especially the monsters. I can't wait for the next book!

I love this audiobook! Luca and Cair are so fun. The side characters are also great! I will definitely listen to this again and I can’t wait for the next audiobook in the series!

Really enjoyed this dip into the Veiled City series!

The story was good if a little predictable, the narration was done well, and the world building was very interesting. I enjoyed my first dip into this world and am looking forward to Teigan’s story for sure!
