Great story

I love the characters and how they work together to right the wrongs. I can't wait to read next book.

creepy haunted house.

This book is for those who enjoy a good ghost story that isn't too scary. Lots of ghosts. Lots of sub plots. Interesting characters. It starts a little slow. But hang in there. The narration was good. She could have made it sound a little bit scarier. I really like her male voices. 4 stars for her. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the author through Story Origin.

Received as an audio review copy from Story Origin, this is an honest review. Narrated once again by Kasi Hollowell, whose performance truly captures that tragic and complex story that unfolds. This absolutely harrowing and darkly poignant profound sequel to Hanging House begins as we witness the intense ghostly spirit that would claim the lives of Emmie's parents, leaving behind so much grief and questions Men is would struggle to understand. The intriguing house at the heart of this story is Caine House, once the magnificent home of Victor Caine: local hero and founder of Lake Eden; and Finn's newest obsession. As Finn works in discover the house's secrets, he falls for a mysterious woman named Josie, who also has an obsession with Caine House... but for darker purposes that will entwine Finn, Emmie and Sarah. I thought this was a great ghost story! Kept me interested until the end and looking forward to the next in series!

Good story and voice acting

I really enjoyed the first book in the series and this was a good story as well defining the characters even more. Look forward to the next.

Five Star Fantastic!!!!

Emmie, Sarah, and Finn, are back with a ton of ghosts, scares, chills, mysteries and thrills in Caine House, book two in this fantastically written, beautifully narrated series! No spoilers, just know that this one is stuffed to the gills with well developed characters, both good and evil, and a plot that is divinely dark, and dare I say delightfully twisty! Dean Rasmussen got me in book one with plot twists and an ending that took me completely by surprise and now the score is Dean two, Gigi zero. Well played sir! Five Fabulous Stars!!!

I need the next one ASAP!

I really need the next book on audio ASAP. I am one that once I start a series in audio, I have to finish it in audio. I am really enjoying getting to know the characters and the narrator is, as always, fantastic. I look forward to listening to the next book.

surprisingly great listen

I went into this book having no idea what it was about and after about 20 minutes I realized this is an awesome book I'm so glad that I started this I can't wait to read the rest

Didn’t disappoint

I have really enjoyed this series and the narrator is fantastic. Plenty of ghosts in Caine House and the writing makes you want to keep listening. Getting ready to buy the next book in this series.
