Disappointing

There was not much “haunting” in this book...
not her best ...disappointing...
narrator was good

such an amazing story...could not stop listening. What a great read after daughters of the lake

No words

such an amazing experience. every twist and turn kept me longing for the next. the narrator does such a great job with the individual characters. absolutely one of my new favorites!

Haunting!

What a great twist on a haunted house story. I enjoyed it all very much.

voices all sound the same

I had high hopes. It was difficult to follow some dialogue because all the voices for the men sound the same. Irritating and horrible. Also, there wasn't that much "haunting" going on. I struggled to finish this book.

Great but so sad

Great story but the entire book was heartbreak. It would have been nice if something, anything at all, happened.

enjoyable listen

I enjoyed listening to this book. at times the narrator was a bit difficult to understand and got a bit annoying with the male voices.
it took up to the very end for me to really understand what was happening and by then I was disappointed there wasn't more. overall a really good book

loved it

What a great book. Wendy Webb is now my favorite author. If you've listened to any other of her books, you won't want to miss this one.

As you go along it gets better and better

I'm not a critic. I'm just someone who likes to get lost in a good story. sometimes you can guess at an ending while reading a book. but I was so wrapped up in the story I was taken back by the ending. I enjoyed it thoroughly. You will too.

Started slow

This story started off slow and was rather difficult for me to get into but once it pulled me in I was hooked and I am so glad I finished the story.
