This turned out to be a good book. I wasn’t sure at first. I do like me some cowboys. Guess I will see what the next book has to offer.

This is my first Lauren Landish novel, but it won't be my last! Her strong characters and the storyline grabbed my attentoon from start to finush and I couldn't put it down. I'm ordering the next book as soon as I finish this review.

Just What I Need(ed)

*Sigh*
Sometimes a story hits just the right spot at just the right time. Kind of like finally scratching that itchy spot that's been bugging you. Or, you know... sometimes you feel like aiding a first responder, and sometimes you feel like saving a horse...

As I was saying, this story just really seemed to hit the mark with me: it was sweet, but still delightfully steamy. It had a great blend of high plains heat and cowboy cool going on. James and Sophie were both really fun characters for me. Probably because they both knew which things to take seriously, and which things to let go and laugh about. They both had a little bit of self-deprecating humor, even though James still managed to have a pretty big ego. I think that comes with the pro bull-riding territory. You've got to feel pretty tall in your saddle to pull that swagger off. Both James and Sophie are hard working and have set serious goals for themselves. They both also have a strong belief in family. I love to see that. But they were also able to let go and loosen up to have some fun--a good trait in today's crazy, driven world.

I basically loved every aspect of this story, these characters, and the way they chose to live their lives. Very well written. Wonderful read. Did my heart good.

WoW a very Hot Cowboy !!!!! OMG OMG OMG I'm so in love with this cowboy 😉 . This book took me by surprise and boy was it a good surprise!!!! OMG the ending was just perfect. I adore the chemistry between James and Sophie . I promise if you love a sexy romance this book is definitely for you. Lauren Landish is an awesome author and Aiden Snow and Melissa Moran are so good at the narrative I was up all night listening 😀.
