Good story - odd narrator
Would you listen to Breathing Water again? Why?
The story was very good - kept my interest.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Susannah Jones?
I have only one small issue with the narration. Overall it was fine but this book often used the expression "mmm hmmm". When a character was supposed to answer mmmm hmmm the narrator said Um Hum - spoken like two words instead of the humming sound of mmm hmm. I know it's a tiny thing but it was jarring - instead of a soft sound of agreement it sounded weird. Perhaps it has to be voiced instead of hummed because of the recording?
