Doc knew that Sheriff Grange and McIan, the preacher of Apoc, would be problems eventually, but the two he had to deal with first were Suez and Goodman. Suez was still a mystery to Doc, and the man had effectively split the town with Goodman. Goodman was a larger concern, being the head of the only bank in town and the mayor of Deep Gulch.

Doc’s lucky strike in the wilds helped give him leverage in town. Using the windfall from his mine, he moved to break the town free from the deep pockets that had it in a stranglehold.

When Lia, Ayla, Sophia, and his wives left town to work on their outdoor knowledge and shooting, Doc was left to mind the Lily and keep healing the wounded. He thought things would be fine, until Spot, one of the deputies, came stumbling in mortally wounded.

Pushing himself more than he should, Doc poured his energy, vitality, and his life into saving Spot. Darkness closed in around him as he used almost everything he had, to bring the deputy back from death’s door.

After escaping death by the barest of margins himself, Doc had no idea what was coming for him next, but he had faith that his goddess would help see him through it.

The plot thickens

Always happy to listen to Andy bring a Schinhofen book to life. Considering book 4 just dropped I'm excited to see how everything progresses.

One of my favorite authors

Normally a book around gambling would never catch my attention, but buy Daniel I had to give it a try. I learned basically anything he puts out I’ll love, I’ll have to try aether’s revival series next

Another Fantastic Production

An excellent book with an excellent interpretation by Andrea Parsneau. I love this series and this book is no exception great character progression and great plot progression. The drama is definitely coming to a head and I can’t wait for the next book!

Awesome as usual!

Awesome continuance to the series. Cleans up some of the hanging plot lines and progresses the story nicely. Though I am hoping that in the next book we get to see a little more of the world... Can't wait for the next one!

Still good

Everything I liked in the previous books is still present so it gets my full support and I'm eager for the next one.

I really wished this would be a poly book not a polygamy book.

I have a character gripe, not a book gripe. It wasn’t really until book 3 did I become disappointed. I’m not one to “there’s only one way to poly,” but did we really need yet another main character that’s insecure af to have a one penis policy?

Nods toward his other book series

I’ve loved all these books so far. I’ve read the Binding Words series and I appreciate the nods towards it. If you haven’t read the other series check it out. I picked this series up from BW quotes.
