Great book

The further into the workbook I went, the more it seemed to be addressing very negative experiences and emotions from childhood. It truly is life changing and is written in a way that you know it becomes part of you and can easily be returned to quickly to remind you of how to grow from triggers! This book shed insight on early life wounding in the younger version of ourselves...It promotes self-examination an empowerment. Will recommend!!!

An essential guide to setting limits for self care

This audiobook is a combination of solid information on how to establish strong, healthy boundaries and calming meditation music.

I particularly love the section on setting emotional boundaries. It is a vital concept that is so often overlooked. These boundaries are routinely violated and the violated person often feels resentful, anxious and irritated. The knowledge which is shared in this book will boost understanding for those who find it difficult to set rules and limits as it pertains to their personal lives.

Heal your inner child

This book will help you heal from childhood trauma. I like the way the author discusses setting boundaries with people in your life. In this way you can let everyone know what you will and will not put up with. When we lack boundaries this can keep us from living the life we want. Use the knowledge presented in this book to help you develop and stick to your boundaries. Your life will be better for it in the long run.

If you have stuff to get over

This book provides you with tools to handle those sticky points that keep nagging you about your past. What is more important is that it provides a means to reach the other side and gives way to cope and move on to a better, more peaceful future. Provokes you to go inward and find the inner strength and capacity to live a different life.

Always Daddy-issues

This book helps people without saying Daddy issues. I use to agree with everyone about everything and all problems this book says happened to me. It wasn't until stop caring about others' feelings and focused on myself that I started to heal. Healing is important and I didn't heal until 28. Read this book if you have childhood problems.

Amazing!

This book helped me create a clear and coherent picture of my own inner struggle. Defining the issue and naming it is an important step for me to solve it. Additionally the author gives credible insight on powerful tools to help me solve it. And I’ve taken action with some of those suggested tools and already seeing changes in my own life. And with time I know this will help me stop reacting in my daily life from an old script based on trauma and create new responses from a much healthier emotional foundation.

It's a must to heal.

I would have avoided many quarrels, if I had had this information beforehand. It wasn't yesterday that I had the problem of setting limits. It never occurred to me to think of all the aspects of life where you can put limits, especially on an emotional level. I need it, and so do the others. With these exercises, I find a better management of time and emotions.

Allow Healing and Find Peace Within

As many of us have childhood traumas and lack the boundaries that may have not been shown to us during the crucial stages of childhood development, this audiobook creates a peaceful space and nurturing narrative pace to allow the reader to realise these boundaries so as to be put in place again, or for the first time. We can only move forward if we address the issues surrounding a lack of boundaries, allow true healing to develop, and achieve peace in our lives. I loved the shadow work in this audiobook, a fantastic additional tool to the teachings provided by the author, who clearly has extensive education and experience with childhood healing. A must listen for all. Highly recommended.

Setting important boundaries!

I have listened to several of this author's books and two things I love are her dedication to helping you build a habit by applying what she teaches for 90 days. I also loved how she goes into great detail about how to properly set necessary boundaries to help protect yourself from past and future trauma.
