Support and guidance that will actually help
Examining your inner child is an essential step in the healing process. Discovering what wounded you as a child and how to deal with and heal is a complicated and vital process. The author shares her own experiences in the hopes of supporting and assisting the reader. The author examines how you can reparent yourself to heal your inner child. I had never thought of dealing with trauma in that way, but it makes sense. The book examines mindfulness and taking care of your present self. The writing is well done and thoughtfully organized to help the reader as they deal with emotional issues and healing. The narrator lends a calm and peaceful voice to help set a comfortable and supportive tone for listening. Everyone can benefit from remembering to love themselves and concentrate on living their best life. I didn't think I had any specific issues that needed to be examined, but after listening and using the steps in this book, I reflected on certain events and found new ways to look at old issues that brought me new peace and clarity. Highly recommend.

love it
I've been craving for certain things, and very persistent on certain things, TBH I didn't know that's caused by childhood trauma until I grew older. This book is actually my first time reading deeper into this topic. It's a very helpful book, and it gives the steps for me to recognize the childhood situations and get over it. Will listen to it again.

A book I never knew I needed
Wow! This was a truly valuable listen. The author provides well thought out strategies to connect with and heal your inner child. Practicing self love and self care has been a journey for me, I am grateful to have the tools provided to help me on this journey. The breath work and journaling techniques are very helpful! Highly recommend this audiobook.

Really wonderful resource
Wow, what a resource. This is like getting thousands of dollars worth of personal therapy in one audiobook. There is so much practical information and modalities explained in the book that has the power to transform lives and lead to true healing. I especially liked the parts on validation, putting a shape and color to your inner child, breath work, and writing. I have done a lot of inner child work, which has really improved my life, and I still got a lot from this awesome book. I would highly recommend!

Very informative and easy to listen
If you experienced trauma growing up and you are still feeling the effects of it, then you need to listen to this audiobook! The author provides a straightforward explanation why a person feels the way they feel after experiencing childhood trauma and provides avenues how they can heal themselves and recover from it. This audiobook helps the listener overcome from childhood trauma and heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. What a great resource! The narration sounds nicely and flows well with the topic.
