Publisher's summary

For the first time, the first five Bunker books, with more than 27 hours of audio, are being offered in one discounted title as Born to Fight.

Cyber-attacks. EMPs. Invasion. War. When the end comes, few will have the ability to survive.

When a coordinated EMP attack takes out the nation’s power grid, a small town finds itself at ground zero of an all-out Russian invasion.

With limited options and no time to prepare, the citizens have no choice but to turn to a mysterious drifter, Jack Bunker, for help.

The former combat engineer has the skills to keep them alive, but he won’t be able to do it alone, not against an overwhelmingly superior force.

Somehow he’ll have to find a way to transform the mild-mannered townsfolk into military-grade warriors and lead them into battle, despite his dark past that leads some to wonder whose side is he really on?

Born to Fight is an explosive, high-octane Rambo meets Red Dawn survival thriller. If you like pulse-pounding action, resourceful warriors, and deep political intrigue, then you’ll love this best-selling tale of true grit.

Rated R for violence and language

Previously published as Bunker, books one through five.

Excellent

I've read probably 75 different post apoc books. This is one of the better ones. Great story and engaging characters.

I was pleasantly surprised.

All I can say is take a listen for yourself. I was absolutely captivated after just a few chapters. I had many nights without sleep because I was listening to this. I had to know what was happening with the characters next. Give it a listen I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Good read

This was a very entertaining read. The author expounded on the grid down theme with a well written and narrated production.

Bravo Zulu

It is what it is!

Is this a literary classic? No. However, it is an extremely enjoyable read if you like the genre.

Solid Post Apocalyptic thrill ride.

Well thought out, good background research. Enjoyed both the story and the performance. Many who write in this genre fall incredible short, Jay Falconer doesn’t.

For me, amateur hour.

I found this story predictable and and canned. Needless scenes were added to add excitement but were so predictable they left me rolling my eyes. I like the genre and the premise was good but the execution poor at best. Loads of scenes where everything works out perfectly. No surprise.

I recommend passing on this one. I just hope it isn’t so bad it hurts the readers career.

What a great story and Gary Tiedemann was great

Honest, the story started very slowly. I stayed with it and was glad I did. I only wished there would have been a real completion at the end of the book. I won't ask the question here as I don't want to spoil it for you.

I had never listened to Gary Tiedemann. He was fantastic. Perhaps the best I have heard on Audible.

story line gets lost in the minutiae.

I really go for detail, as in Tom Clancy, but this was over the top.
