it was good and i listened to it through but it wasn't as intriguing as the previous ones and I'm finding myself zone out more. hopefully the next one catches my interest again

Start here, start anywhere !

It's not that you can't find your way through any of the Mercy Thompson books without reading the priors, it's that you feel that you MUST read more because they are so well written and fascinating.

Excellence is increasing exponentially

This series gets better with each book. Doesn't waste a lot of time going over previous books. The characters are building depth. Lorelei is gray fun and matches the story nicely

The fright of connecting with old friends.

Loved it. It added new abilities of a vampire and it gave you more insight on unwanted deception.

Addicting

Love that this series has a little of each supernatural characters. Mercy is strong yet slightly vulnerable yet doesn't allow her super friends to rescue her.

A must get

I love these books. They are a great read and have just enough of everything without being to much. True talent

well done

Filled in quite a few questions the other books left me with. unfortunately it gave me more as well. mercy is an awesome character and I have gained a new respect for most of the others as well. looking forward for the rest of the series.

Loved it

As with all her books they have one big flaw, they're not long enough. I just hate finishing them. I love her characters and want to spend more time with them.

Advances series

I had read some of the reviews before listening to this episode. My impression was that this one would be redundant to the whole series. But after listening, there were several things in this that advanced the background tale. I would recommend listening to it because I suspect that future books will make reference to it. Ms. King did her usual outstanding performance.
