Loved the twist!
This is my first book by John DeDakis, and I must say that I am impressed! There was so many twists and turns that just made since AFTER the fact, that I stayed intrigued from start to finish. Lark is an investigative reporter who is sucked into a murder mystery that she was ultimately accused of due to being set up by...well, the killer, of course. I'm usually pretty good at guessing who the true murderer is, but this one kept me guessing through to the end. I was definitely surprised.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and Candace Fitzgerald has a great voice. She narrates like she is telling a story, and not like reading a newspaper out loud. lol
I highly recommend and look forward to other books by both.

Absolutely incredible narration

Nail biter With Lots of Twists!
Great Clancy-esque mystery/thriller with some excellent and unexpected twists. The narrator does a great job with the big and eclectic cast of characters

BLUFF
This is an excellent book that has a great storyline. Lark is a reporter/Journalist. There is a murder and a guy scheming people out of money on land deals. The side characters play a big part in the story. There also good. I highly recommend trying this book. It held my attention from start to finish. The narrating is excellent.
