Intriguing storyline

Best audiobook I have listened to in a while. The voice actors are amazing. The plot twist was plot twisting. I literally gasped.

Can't wait for book 2. amazing writing and characters. character personality is a 10 out of 10.
I laughed so much. The sarcasm is on point. audio was perfect. they portrayed the characters amazingly

The fmc dry dark humour and relatability

Really good plot, I usually like more smut to be involved personally but I actually enjoy all the characters involved especially the relationship the fmc has with her new found parents and with Nix but I do think they could’ve used Teddy Hamilton’s voice more cuz 🥵

I need book two RIGHT NOW!!

Narration was superb, only slightly disappointed that the characters didn’t narrate their dialogue. (I don’t know if that makes sense, I cant figure out how to english it better)

The bonus chapter? was unexpected, and I suppose I assumed what I wanted it to be, so being disappointed is on my for expecting something that was not promised.

Overall, will read and listen to again.

I’m speechless and entertained

I loved this book so much. It had funny dialogues, amazing character descriptions and the fact it had multiple povs was good too.
I can’t decide on hating or loving the MMCs they were creeps and too manipulative however their way of showing love towards the FMC was hilarious.
1000% recommend everyone to listen to this book just because the funny FMC and her way of speaking.

Alexis is my hero. (this review may contain spoilers)

Ok so look, I'm not usually into books were 90% of the content is the thoughts in a main characters head. But Alexis internal monolog had me laughing out loud nearly every minute. She certainly wasn't one to suffer in her own silence, that's for sure. The female Narrator was perfection, in my view. The way she was able to express fatigue and other conditions and emotions is unparalleled.

Now, the miscommunication between the main characters drove me up the wall. Why not one of the men thought to ask her about how she came to be there or how she grew up was a never ending source of frustration for me.

Was this the best book I've ever read? Nope. But the female narrator helped to bring it up to a very entertaining level so that I enjoyed it. And I will be getting the second book because I really want to see how these guys manage to redeem themselves and I need to know if the other 2 guys get in on the relationship too. But more than anything, I have high hopes that Alexis will make their lives complete hell.

Great Story with a twist

I enjoyed the story and narration, I just wish the male spoken parts were read by the male narrator, even though the female narrator did a very good job, it would have been even better.

Well, complications for no reason

Even though I’ve enjoyed the overall story, I’m a bit disconcerted about the excessive shortsighted view of the FMC, even discounting her young age… she grew up roughly after all. Towards the end, I’ve started skipping after having had enough of stretched story line and unjustified paranoia.. such a told-to-be intelligent girl ought to have come to better or more plausible conclusions. So, it’s a no, after Allan’s I am very sorry for it… it left me unsatisfied and wondering what the hell. I hope the next instalment will be less insufferable
