Surprisingly enjoyable

I wasn’t sure if I would finish the book, but did finish and was pleasantly surprised at the ending.

Loved this book!

This is an amazing start to a series and I loved all of it so much! You should seriously give this story and series a chance because it is so much fun! So much stabbing and so much to love. The narrator did a fantastic job.

Another reason why I enjoyed the 1st title

Just give it a chance it’s worth a try at least and at most it’s worth everything 💖💖💖💖💖
And if you do love it there’s more to buy next in the series!!!!

Liked everything but the female lead character

I liked the storyline, plot, narrators, & most of the characters! I hated the female lead character.

Incredible!

Holy sh*t! This book rocks! Demi is one seriously bada$$ chick! I want to be her! And the men, can you say swoon worthy? The character development is spectacular and the storyline is action packed, witty, and all around fantastic. The audiobook also rocks! The Narrator does such an incredible job! You do not want to miss out on this new series, it is definitely a Must Read, and I cannot wait for the next book!

Male voices were terrible.

The book wasn’t horrible, but the narrator was at times. Her male voices were extremely bad.

Stabbiest, I mean greatest book

Ok so our mfc is a little stabby, doesn’t mean she isn’t lovable. Or maybe she is lovable because of it. Totally amazing book. The narrator does a great job bringing the book to life and everything just leaves you wanting more

Epic story, great narrator!

I’m brand new to Miles but the pretty cover and intriguing title & blurb piqued my interest. Since it wastes no time delivering on action, mystery and a relatable FMC, I’m no less hooked after the first chapter. Said FMC is extremely witty and I found myself smiling many times, even during some rather precarious situations.

Very few people can pull off crafting a world which is packed with drama, action, life-altering conflict, heat and still have laugh-out-loud humor throughout. I was repeatedly impressed by the writing and will absolutely seek out the rest of Miles’s catalog. Wow! I am stoked at this discovery.

This installment was just a little bit twisted, but I feel there’s potential for more and will read on to see whether I’m correct. Either way, cannot wait to find out.

4.5 stars.

I listened to the audiobook and wow! The narrator has a great voice and uses scene-appropriate tones. This made for a great listening experience … and made me laugh at times. She’s not just reading a book, she’s acting. 4.5-star performance.
