This book is a page turner. It’s full of suspense and the writing is top notch. If you’re looking for the next big thing. This one is it!!!!

Holy cow

Awesome story, awesome characters. Couldn’t stop listening! I just hope they release a second one.

Entertaining but not believable

Dumb police processes. Didn’t protect witnesses. But entertaining on road trip. Bad ending in epilogue.

Wonderful story

I look forward to all of his books. This one is not to missed, and the narrater is fabulous.

Soured at the Very End

I dislike a “hook “ at the end of a book. I’m sure authors design them to entice the reader to get the next novel in the series. It has the opposite effect on me. If the current book does that, so may the next.

The title caught my attention first and then I was captivated with the progression of the story!

Wow, what an exciting story with great, original characters and I actually listened to it in one day!

Another wonderful Scott Pratt read

I thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish. The book is the perfect combination of underdog overcoming incredible odds, the good guys win, a feel good factor and leaves one hanging anticipating the next book in series. Presley Carter brings a lot of Joe Dillard qualities to the story. I love the Joe Dillard series and all of Scott Pratt’s works. There is lots of great authors but none greater than Scott Pratt. Thanks for another wonderful book.

I hope book 2 gets written by Scott Pratt's son. I loved it and would love to read the next book in the series.

Great dialogue nice twist at times

I really enjoyed this series. I cannot wait for the second one to come out. I’d love the character of Presley, I think she’s confident, but also girly enough to enjoy her with intelligence and her empathy for clients.
