His performance as a narrator is excellent!

I really like the story but didn't love it. His performance as a narrator is excellent. I don't know if I will stick to whole 10books but I will definitely buy the next one.

I wasn't bored once. Lot's of twists and turns. I think the main character is on his way to a heartattack though.

Fucking amazing!!!

I love this, such an incredible story! It wouldn't be the same if the author hadn't read it.

Great book!!

The author is amazing!! The characters progression is one where we all can relate to. The complaining and getting it done part is my forte lol. I cannot wait for the next one.

Hero tale done very well

If you were iffy about the second book like I was, then give the third one a try before you give up on the series. Definitely impressed by this one. The author has crafted a wonderful villain in this series and he is a large actor in this book. The overall story still doesn’t match the depth and tone of the first but the quality shines through in different ways. And it is definitely (in my unsolicited opinion) way better than the second. I do miss the dark tone of the first book but this is good too. I am definitely getting the next one.

That said, as the series goes forward I would like to see less reliance on pop-culture references as humor or inserted into serious situations. The fact that Gabe actually seriously responds with “Don’t split the party” as an actual argument at one point brings me a level of irritation I can’t describe. All the meta/ 4th-wall stuff was also a bit much.

As a narrator, Erikson is amazing. Couldn’t get any better. Wow. He could definitely make narration a career if he wanted.

I love these books and the author being the narrator. the story is deep and twisting. The authors delivery has gotten better with each books. highly suggest of you are hear reading this review its worth your time and money.

Another great story

Loved this book. I actually love the whole series and grabbed this as soon as it was available. Great characters and really fun story with lots of twists and turns. Highly recommend

I've been rather happy with books 1-3 just getting to write a review now. feels like your going to guess where things are going and then get pleasantly surprised when your wrong. I'm getting book 4 now.

I just want to say that I’m continuously impressed by this story and the narration. Josh is a great writer and also a talented orator. If you read/listen to the first two books then you already know and won’t be disappointed with this book. If you haven’t then you really should. It’s unique, funny and fascinating. Character growth continues and the story progression is good without repetition. All around happy with my purchase. If we were on another platform I’d give you my upvote and a gold. Thank you Josh for sharing your beautiful story. If I get a C on my Med school exam for binging your book, I’m totally blaming you haha.
