Each targeted date features a significant event, including Sir Walter Raleigh's beheading in 1618, the American stock market crash of 1929, and the first Internet message sent in 1969. But the missions are never as clear-cut as they seem, leading the team straight into the dangerous paths of extraordinary adversaries, such as yetis, krakens, and Vikings.
As time grows short, the Time Patrol learns that no amount of training and experience can prepare them for the enemies they battle and the alternate realities they face. And now, six changes to history could lead to the ultimate catastrophe: the end of existence.

Time is the moment but hope is the future
The story is abit complexe for new readers has its based from the foundation of two outer series lay being effected by about a few outer series published by the author. I felt the author had used alot of the time to give new readers the facts about how things happen but it was a great story has theys tidbits are important. theys lead the story having a learning experience for the chacthers and read and made this novel important for the start of a series so was a great novel if any wants to listen.

Refreshing installment
Bob Mayer never ceases to amaze. I've read most of his books and this one is one of the top ones. I love the what ifs on history and can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Audible narrator is one of the best
I like the writings of Bob Mayer. I started the series with the NightStalkers and continued on to the Tme Patrol. Eric G Dove as the narrator makes the books come alive and is one of the best narrators I've listened to. I like the way he changes his voice to differentiate the characters and stays consistent with those voices. Driving back and forth to work is not boring listening to these stories and Eric G. Dove.

Interesting Story
This is the fifth book in the Nightstalker/Time Patrol series. Or the second if you only count the Time Patrol books, but you really do need to read the Nightstalker books to understand who these people are.
I like the story even though the Time Patrol books are very different from the Nightstalkers. What keeps me from giving it more stars is I’m not a fan of the narrator. Something about his voice rubs me the wrong way.

Boring
Either very boring or I am just not the right target for this .... but do enjoy time travel and sci-fi in general.
